Veneers

What are veneers?

Examples of my work in this area

Porcelain Veneers

This patient was unhappy with her heavily restored upper front teeth and the narrow appearance to of her upper arch. She has previously had orthodontic treatment to try and correct this but it failed to correct it completely.

Eight minimal preparation porcelain veneers were placed on the four front teeth as well as the premolars (the two teeth behind the canines).

Direct Composite Veneers

before

One of the front teeth had a dead nerve which led to tooth discolouration and two of the lower front teeth were fratured.

after

Finished restorations using composite layering technique to create direct chair side composite veneers following very minimal preparation of the teeth.

Porcelain Veneers

Patient had trauma to the two front teeth which led to fractured and uneven edges. The patient was also unhappy with the small appearance of the lateral incisors (next to the two front teeth).

A course of dental whitening was carried out followed by minimal preparation porcelain

The veneers corrected the proportions of the teeth, made them more symmetrical and also corrected the slight slant that was present between the two front teeth.
